In early 2003 Jon Voight, Ned Beatty, Ronny Cox and John Boorman joined Burt Reynolds on a visit to the museum during a thirty year Deliverance reunion shoot for Vanity Fair magazine. Shortly thereafter Voight was quoted as saying “You don't know what a pack rat is until you see the Burt Reynolds Museum . I mean he has the original Deliverance canoe that was cut in half (by the rapids) that he put it back together and he has it in the museum. It's quite amusing.”

Glistening chandeliers, mirrored cases and varnished mahogany mixed with coquina and granite awaits the visitor of the Burt Reynolds and Friends Museum. Garnet red walls filled with Hollywood's greatest celebrities evoke memories of your favorite movies and television shows.
|
The stage area comes alive when Mr. Reynolds and guest instructors conduct scene study classes at the museum. Classes include the master acting class as well as classes in film-making, scriptwriting and documentary film-making.
|
The museum walls are covered with autographed pictures of presidents, sports heroes, and celebrities that Burt has rubbed shoulders with over the years. From Mickey Rooney to Russell Crowe, the museum has something sure to fascinate everyone in the family.
Our gift shop (left) stocks many types of museum keepsakes and collectibles--some autographed by Mr. Reynolds himself! Most items are also available at our Online Catalogue.

The museum is available for private and public functions. Our bar area is always a beehive of activity during these intimate functions. |
